A Glorious Walk through Slinter Woods and Dunsley Meadows Saturday 30th April

in Archive

Organised by The Arkwright Society at Cromford Mill near Matlock Bath this guided walk will take you through ancient woodland alongside Bonsall Brook.

Consider the importance of the brook as a source of power for mills in the 18th century and our plans to use power now in the 21st.  Take a view of the wider landscape as we loop around Dunsley Meadows before calling in to the undercroft at Slinter Cottage, a former water powered Mill.

Meeting place is at The Greyhound Public House, Market Place, Cromford (2pm-4.30pm)  Places are strictly limited – to reserve your place please contact The Arkwright Society on 01629 825995 (Free entry)
